lots of quite cool "coincidences" have been happening recently. divine intervention? quite possibly.
carlton, this guy i knew from faith community church (fcc) who also started coming to murdoch christian union (mcu), had been struggling with 2 people (so called christians,sigh) who had hurt him. i icq him a bit trying to hlp him get rid of all that anger but not helping much coz i guess his spirit was pretty much closed. then he wanted to visit pclc 2 sorta get away frm hypocrisy 4 a while. usually there would not b any space in dan's car coz it wld b full of crazy laughing biting (yes biting!) pinching and slapping jialin wengyan and zech. i know they sound really violent. they are!!! (help me...= P) i wonder wat happens 2 their enemies if they already treat their frens lik that... coincidentally, sports day was going on in village, wengyan and zech went 4 1st service and jialin overslept. again. so carlton had a seat. which was gd coz i guess the message that sunday really spoke to him and dan managed 2 talk a whole lot of real sense and share his experiences of being hurt 2 carlton during lunch. really woke him up. i tink dan's experience really helped a lot. really wanna help carlton snap out of it asap coz he's a really young christian. his testimony is pretty amazing too. came from a staunch buddhist family, he even has a scary tattoo! incredible how God drew him against such odds and i tink he's starting 2 have a heart to reach out to muslims in malaysia. wow.
2day attempted 2 find encompass bookshop near curtin. went with jialin and eileen and got lost. our "guide" happened 2 b a BIG bear-like white pyrenese mountain dog lopeing around. i was supposed 2 look out 4 the shop and i went "DOG! BIG DOG!". it so happened the place we were looking 4 was across the road frm the dog. (whose name was jasper by the way). passing the same road AGAIN, i went " DOG! BIG DOG NEXT TO THE CAR IN THE CARPARK!", as usual we all stared, then eillen went " ENCOMPASS BOOKSHOP!". we finally found it. the big dog lived next t the shop...we must have spent almost an hour looking for the shop...
another coincidence! the 3 of us lurve subway! finally, people who i can get "fresh" with.
i tink i need 2 start thinking and typing faster. slept at 4 last nite finishing up an assignment due 2day. sigh.
i still have 2 wait another 15 min 4 my antibiotics 2 work b4 i can go horizontal 2 sleep...wc here i come...= P

after a month incognito.
a LOT of things happened.
wah.
lets work backwards.
was actually fasting and praying during the one week study break about God's direction in my life. finally had a reply from that company, now its up to me if i want to take it up.after many tears, prayers, and a hunger directed towards God, everything seems to point to me to take it up. not just because it seems to b a good thing. the biggest point was that in wanted it to b wat God wanted me to do. not just my own human desires. it had so many implications to my desire to b involved in missions, God's calling in my life, going back out of what God may have rescued me from a country of bondage (?) from a better place (?), my relationship with dan etc...thanks to all my counsellors, mentors and prayer support.= ) all i want to do is live for Him. i have counted the cost. wherever i m planted will b my mission field. as i m seeing here and now.
i actually started to do a prayer list during that time. if u have any prayer requests please tell me, i will join u in prayer!
started on dog dissections too. a little sad coz the doggies come from the greyhound races. these dogs probably couldn't run fast enough. i have started having a weird fascination for fascia. the spider web like tissue that wraps most muscles. hey i cant help it. a lot of the time, removing fascia makes muscles easier to see and it usually means we have found the muscle we want. my group mates have dubbed me the "fascia queen".
many many great speakers have converged here in perth and i have been t listen to many of them. heard of rodney howard browne? the guy through which "holy laughter" first came about. pple start laughing in his meetings. sometimes sounds a bit scary but very contagious! very spirit led guy. "felling" people like logs. but the crowd was so big at pclc i thot i would never get picked out to get a "touch of God". but amazingly, he started to prophesy over 2 young boys and started asking all who were 13,14,15,16,17,18 to come out. then he called for all the 19 year olds, wah. went up, didnt really know he placed his hands on me and i was floored. i sem to realise i usually fall crying, not out of sadness, somewhat more of joy. whatever it is i know its the spirit working in me. on the last nite he really floored everything that moved in the congregation! the whole floor space was cleared and started filling up with horizontal pple. = P also a great prophet. really inspiring guy. could really c how God provided abundantly 4 him.
then a young prophet and his wife, peter and christine christensen came 2. they'll b at the young adults resort i'll b going to. really anointed. had this great tugging at my spirit when he called for those with problems with their employment and i went up. pastor david prayed and i had some inkling of my big decision.
cindy jacobs came too! lots of great prophecies over australia, where the last revival will come. but it also came with warnings of terrorism in perth and a call to continually fast and pray for this city and its leaders.
looking forward to going back! miss everybody there! gonna traffick spore and perth stuff. what were u thinking? i was thinking local produce and the sort.
the end of this semester is really creeping up on me!
back to work.
