Annoyance

What Gets Me Jumping Up and Down

Paperwork that doesn't seem to bring much benefit to anyone.

For example, reports that take vast amounts of time to do resulting in pages upon pages of work that lecturers only seem to take a cursory glance at 1-2% and give an obligatory "tick" of approval to.

It makes me feel shortchanged and subcredited.

I could have been spending time suturing my green potatoes instead.

Why Lamb?

Sheep lectures got me thinking.

Sheep are one of the few, if only animal in the world that most or all cultures have no aversion or taboo to.

Which is sort of great that Jesus is sometimes called the "Lamb of God".

No one would be afraid of going to the Lamb and no one would be afraid of the Lamb getting close to them.

Life

Is Like A Barstool

What makes a chair? It has at least one leg like a barstool.

Life is like sitting on a barstool made of one central legs and one or more supporting legs.

My central "leg" is God, and the other legs are people that support my life like my family and close friends.

So even when one of my "supports" breaks down or gets shorter, I may feel unsettled and unsteady for a while, but I still don't fall.

God is like one of those heavy duty metal supports permanently welding my chair to the floor, so if even all of the rest of my chair legs fail, I know I will never fall.

Who, or what, makes up YOUR barstool?
