Survival

One year ago some primitive island tribes knew how to run when they saw the sea suddenly receding. Knowing through the stories of their ancestors the sea would come back in a big way. Even though they attributed the phenomenon to good and bad spirits shaking the "world tree", they survived.

Would we be able to survive in the natural world today?

Lonely?

Who will befriend the befriender?

Who will care for the carer?

Who will love the lover?

"I will", says the Lord.

Sharon's Guide to Making Life Simpler

The Midnight Snack

Get a midnight hunger pang, like I have been getting the past few nights for reasons unknown. A too small stomach capacity for dinner? Or my maid's bland cooking? Who knows?

Get out a block of tofu, use a knife to cut it out.

Plonk tofu into a microwaveable plate.

Get out assorted ingredients like MUSHROOMS (nature's MSG), meat, vegetables etc. I used leftover mushrooms hanging around in my fridge.

Plonk on top of tofu.

Get out condiments like soy sauce, maggi seasoning, salt, pepper, sesame oil etc. and plonk on top of whatever is already on the plate.

Plonk plate into microwave.

Set microwave to HIGH, for 3 minutes if there are only vegetables, maybe up to 5 if there is meat.

The smell of soy sauce will fill the air...

Bing!

Midnight snack! Albeit a rather mushy, vego and hippy kind of snack. Burp.
