butt hurts. hee. went horseriding wif village pple on sat & it still hurts! never thot it wld affect my body so much. not used to cross country riding but it was really an experience. my horse was barney & he was so lazy wouldnt budge unless u showed him the fake whip, a branch i pulled off a tree. jialin had the sweetest horse, barbarian. v funny. her horse wld fart and mine wld pee. i n knew horses cld fart & pee so much.
really tired out and sleep deprived even tho its non teaching wk now, was rushing my essay drafts last wk coz i left them to the last min. oops. even then still like going sch coz making myself go 4 wkshops.
came back frm soccer, juz found out had to pay $100 membership. o well its quite ok considering. we oso haf 2 sell chocs to keep membership this low. o well i like 2 sell things aniwae. gotta sell freddos. frog shaped chocs but they taste pretty gd, dats y they r an endangered species, hee.
o yes bedlam had this drink on the bar tab on fri 4 fun, drank one bottle of barcardi and got drunk. not really, more like tipsy. better to increase my tolerance in case i ever nid 2 hold alcohol even tho i dun really like the taste and effects. then went 4 pclc youth worship, really gd! talked 2 pastors there abt assemblies of God, its ok, not too hard up about ritualistic things but maybe i'll try to find a charismatic presbyterian church. yes i know it sounds a little oxymoronic...so far i like pclc the best, but perth is so big...so many more churches for me 2 explore.
went to fcc, finally on sun. was ok, pple r real nice but it was practically all asian, and i wan 2 be immersed in this new culture, not cut off frm it. roy's going ns next wk! can't use the 'i terrorised him in sunday sch' bit abt him animore.
made frens wif this gal sharolyn, got cheap tix 2 c chicago on mon. so cool! highly recommended! momma was so sexy and voluptuous but not fat. wow. oso learned another thing abt car manners. but i tink this is perculiarly malaysian.samantha was 'sharon! go sit in front!' after chun yi (2nd year vet) stopped off at her home. i didn't know y til sam said in msia if only 1 person sitting in front then person behind is being chauffered wich is quite rude if it is ur fren giving u a lift. o well n c pple doing dat in spore but its gd to know. sigh looks like i learn all my manners the hard sad way, thru trial and error.
sun went church together, this thing where all the churches in perth cum 2gether 2 worship. it was so gd! the worship was so inspiring i wan 2 bring those fantastic songs back to spore to share them. the speaker was really gd too, best one i've heard in perth but he's british! j john really looked acted and spoke like mr bean! really effective speaker. got the message thru alrite.
after dat a bit funni coz dan's car got locked in multi-storey carpark in northbridge at 12pm. we missed it by 10 min, jialin was cackling away. amazingly roy popped out of lan shop next door so dan cld get his sis' car frm uwa. then kelvin unexpectedly met the 'girl' of his dreams. the last i heard he's proposing 'marriage'. 2 the CAR. = ) now he cant wait 4 'her' mother to cum back frm spore...
got word dat astar revising my scholarship coz i did worse than predicted. they say it was onli in principal approval. but phillip yeo took me in on my worse prelims. so i duno wat is really happening. i may b 'bond free'. o well juz trusting in God all the way. no matter wat happens he will always b wif me. really duno wat God's plan 4 me is now, all i can do is rely on him wif all my heart.
every wkend dan is brnging different batches of my frens 2 his place 2 c his dvd and incredible mp3 collection. 150 000 songs! wow. then he popped by yesterday to use my net 2 study but instead he went crazy on student village network and leached shared files. now i haf 1000 songs on my com in 1 nite and various episodes of dumb ads, celebrity deathmatch, anime and transformers?! boys and their entertainment. wheres my little pony? = ) my com is starting 2 look like dan's, but it will never match up, he has 6 hard drives! techies drool now...

stony been stoning to the tune of moulin rouge on dvd, slept at 4 woke at 1, eileen eric & andrew bght 10kg of grapes frm canningvale mrkt cheap, thot i heard eileen's laughter then woke up to a veritable grape fest...o ya she got transferred to vet! yay! now sum of them tinking of applying scholarship, i m sorta counselling them abt it. haf experience mah. = )
went to lakeside last sun, worship was great but i didnt like the fact dat sum youth juz went crazy over the fast jumpy songs and left the service when the slow songs started. also it was almost totally caucasian and nobody seemed to know who was new. not dat i haf anything against all asian or all caucasian churches, i understand they do have a purpose and fill certain niches wich is gd, but i tink God's family is for everybody, a step higher nids 2 b taken, and i wld rather serve in a church where everybody is comfortable wif everybody else. a lot of them r tired of chrch hopping and haf sorta settled down but i will take my time, 2 c where God wans me 2 go.

hey hey abt my bdae wich is a misnomer i tink coz i onli got born once 19 years ago not 19 times & i dun c the point in pple making a big fuss over me or thats coz i wld rather i make a big fuss over pple but n mind. argh last year i will b a teen! i dowanna grow up! dad sent over a giant laminated photo of meow meow. now i feel like going home to squish him everytime i look ar him on my wall. daniel dropped by on thurs to use my internet 2 study 4 his masters in melbourne, the wonders of long distance learning. he brght a pot of sunflowers yay! and half a choc cake, i dunno where the other half went to. shared cake wif flatmates. andrew wans 2 run 25km to work out the calories. got cards here and there. went nike factory store and koorong (1 of 2 christian bookstores in perth) bhgt a kooky christian poster! wif val jiamin & samantha, daniel drove he nids to use up his half days haha. went to ocf (overseas christian fellowship) curtin wif samantha and gabriel to c c. lisa was there! she's the prayer & praise i/c. they had bdae cake! but i tink i wun b going back there animore.the whole concept of ocf is great, but i wanna integrate, not isolate, furthermore all curtin pple and its v far away! i came back, wanted to make my online date wif al but he didn't show! al! aniwae the rest of them pathetically tried to hide the fact dat they were throwing me a surprise party and eventually gave up when i showed. more cake! eileen bght her chihuahua e.t. so cute! he stole the show but it was ok. took lotsa photos but i dun wan 2 look at myself in them. outbreaking in zits all over and i dunno y! dats it i m gonna wash my curtains asap. hey denise i found ur counterpart here. jialin BITES me, i m afraid shes gonna eat me coz shes vegan and is deprived of the taste of meat. HELP! = ) but shes also violent and slaps pple. i m keeping my distance frm her now. hee. then adjourned frm rec rm to val's big rm to play bridge! yes! bridge club perth! kelvin jiamin val and me played. til i had no idea wat cards i was playing and koed on the floor. val started downloading frm kazaa and printing lect notes, kel and jiamin started to make card castles on the floor, weird stuff 2 do in the middle of the nite. o well. woke up at 3 am, ran back 2 my flat coz it was cold! slept at 4...c above = )

running around freo (fremantle) during fcc enroute, sumthing like amazing race. got delayed an hour so looked at parrots in park so cute! met sandra megan there! got placed into a random gp coz i signed up during o day but didnt pay! but it was fun coz i was in the onli mainly caucasian gp. jessica frm msia gp leader, funni jen frm us (hey she was a summer camp instructor too!), bianca and inge frm darwin and sandy frm canada. realli glad i got to know them, inge and sandy r 3rd year vets and inge is real frenly offering to lend me her notes and bks if i eva nid them. enroute was fun! really got to know my way arnd freo beta. my team was really fired up to win, we ran to practically every station and got to the final checkpoint 1st! we were eventual champs and won ikea lamps! hey dat rhymes..but sumbody was saying the 1st prize was a cruise last year, but i m already so happy wif my prize now! the photos we had to take all turned out nice! there was onli 1 terrible encounter during the whole thing. to get bonus points we had to get a photo wif at least 15 seagulls in it. b4 one of us cld take the photo, an abo (aborigine), i tink he was drunk, chased them all away and asked us to take a photo of him. we ignored him and a few of his frens started cursing the caucasians. we juz walked away quickly but i tink jen was so angry she gave him the finger. that wasnt a very pleasant experience.
and st after enroute we hopped down 2 cottesloe 4 the spore inter uni beach thing. as predicted by dan, mostly freshies were there. but it was fun, talked to pple frm other unis.it was so hot it was hot! the tug of war was tiring, got tugged a lot. sum silly pple got sprained stuff and abraised hands! then there was tiring relay. and super funni step on ur balloon dun step on mine game. after dat became sand attractor, sand juz wouldnt fall off me. the water was so nice onli cld wade coz my miserable fren had to accompany me to the beach! now i haf funni tan lines all over me ahh!
later me andrew eric richard val kelvin and 2 tsl (the spore link) pple wayne and felix went 2 northbridge to eat chinese! food, not pple. = ) wanted to go city garden but it was 2 crowded so we went to this nice place nearby dat sold chvinese food. i m not kidding, dats wat it said on the menu! it was gd coz 20% off dinner wif free soup and dessert! shiok!

last nite was crazy nite! i tink post a level results day stress permeated here. travis' rm got broken into and his laptop, camera and hp got stolen! but he usually locks his rm! and the scary thing is i slept at 3am coz i chatting to muggers and i didnt hear a thing. frm now on iclose windows and let everything overheat. yuk. dan brought a laptop lock 4 me too. = ) jialin's flat's playstation got stolen too, and her rm is nearest to her lounge, she also didnt hear anything. and apparentl there was a naked man running around the village thank goodness he was arrested and i didnt c anything. c no evil! = )
really thank God for my results coz i neva hit those results in all my time in jc. got abb a1. wow. gp was shocking coz i always write out of point in class. bio a yay! thot wld do worse looking at paper. math b yay! coz i always fail tests in sch.phy b haiz, thot cld do beta coz paper looked ok but i guess dat phy cohort was really smart. should have mugged mcq more! o well, i have a fresh start now, can try to get high distinctions for units. now in two phases abt results. i know i can still kip scholarship coz i got in on bbd frm prelim but wats the use if murdoch kicks me outa vet coz i got in on predicted aab! o well then eileen (aaa) can take my place!
haiz missed the mud volleyball organised by 3rd year vets. coz of my miserable fren i had to accompany today. even had to miss soccer pract. fren juz came to visit b4 it started! misery craves company. so ended up abandoning val wif 4 muddy bodyguards who tried to throw me and jiamin into the mud as well until we ran away! talk about racial harmony. everybody there on the farm were one color. dirt brown. yes it took place on the farm, with cows`and horses and...
ran around doing laundry and darning my 'holey' clothes. and while waiting 4 laundry ran over to stanton's my residential assistant (RA) watta name, flat to ask him abt connecting to the wonderful world of lan warcraft on student vilage (sv)...
haha went to check out bedlam theatre company on tues and got voted a com member coz so few pple were there at agm!
at the last count i m in...mcu (murdoch christian union),mufc (murdoch uni football club),bedlam,some prayer support gp dat super onz kelvin started and i havent found a church to serve in yet! o dear i tink i m getting overinvolved. i m drowning, but i luff dat drowning feeling...

my stomach feels funni.m i juz hungry or was it the penang laksa i ate 4 din that wasn't zapped properly? oops. but it was quite nice it has to be apparantly some sultan in johor eats the same thing. the lobangs daniel has. food lobangs r gd. and for the benefit of everybody out there including my parents whose imaginations always run wild-daniel is NOT i repeat NOT trying to date me. can't pple juz b nice 2 each other regardless of gender? can't a brother in Christ just want to help out a sister in Christ? i say wat is the world cuming to when u can onli safely interact wif pple of the same gender w/o suspicions running loose? o wait a minute, in this era of un-heterosexual pple, that may not always b the case either. = )

hair...been very busy lately running around doing things buying stuff trying to settle into uni routine. so mayb this is all i can manage for the while even tho i wld like 2 blog more often. gives me a sense of release u know.
got a call frm jialin abt 10pm. "we r having a prayer meeting, wan 2 join us?" i thot it was something serious so i went out in my windbreaker but shorts and it was COLD. it is true, u can experience 4 seasons in a day here in perth. and it was so sweaty hot in the afternoon! apparantly the turnout wasn't so gd, but where 2 or 3 r gathered in His name...juz me jialin and kelvin the ringleader. he juz got this idea to juz sit down and share abt our spiritual lives. wich was gd, i really thank God 4 giving me so many brothers and sisters here.
and in the morning i didn't go to church! ahhh! lisa dun kill me! it was an honest mistake! lisa so nice call to make sure i go church. aniwae we thot there was 11am service at lakeside but when we got there there was a big hullabaloo wif daniel's frens there and me and andrew got pushed off to the visitor's lounge. i was tinking, isn't service gonna start? wat r we doing here? then the fantastic choc mousse cake sorta distracted me. (hint: visiting churches in oz is a great gastronomic adventure! the visitor's lounge food is always nice!) ok but dats not the point. = ) daniel kept saying sori but i dunno y i blur lah,had to wake up at 9,but i went back to sleep and woke up at 9.55 instead. i like to sleeeeeep. it was then dat i finally realised there was no 11 service, dat wld onli happen next week! o well can always cum again.
then we drove to jojo's near uwa to c c. supposed to b a gd fishing spot. lots of dead puffer fish on the pier and jellyfish in the water.
then down to cottesloe beach to eat lunch at the blue duck. the food was gd, nothing like i haf ever tasted. i had stuffed squid. chewy.= )
